Some felted blooms... brooches!

Various colors and shapes - flowers is a fathomless theme, pure inspiration. I'm planning to dig lilies a bit more. One of these flowers is brand new - the claret rose made specially for Susan from Blue Jay, CA..

The diameter of all flowers is more or less the same, 15-18 cm. They are lightweight, stiff and stirdy.

That verse put me in a mood and somehow inspired me to create this purse. Solemn gloom of deep waters and smooth fog of the night. This piece turned out to be very beautifully shaped and has spectacular colors in it, too.

The gorgeous kiss clasp frame, taffeta lining inside, also goes together with the water lily brooch.

Approximate measurements: 24 cm tall x 35 cm wide (the widest part of the bottom) -- 9" tall x 13,7" wide, without the frame. The diameter of the brooch is approx. 16 cm -- 6,3".
