Potyomkin (Потёмкин) scarf

I've made this scarf for a Russian friend of mine who's a guitar player. What he wanted was a simply elegant accessory that compliments the musician's style without attracting too much attention to itself, with minimalistic feel to it. I decided to use such subdued colours and add a bit of a shiny texture in order for it to look better on stage. I believe this garment creates a truly enigmatic look.
Russian winter turned out to be really long this year, so the scarf is still in use!

Some felted blooms... brooches!

Various colors and shapes - flowers is a fathomless theme, pure inspiration. I'm planning to dig lilies a bit more. One of these flowers is brand new - the claret rose made specially for Susan from Blue Jay, CA..

The diameter of all flowers is more or less the same, 15-18 cm. They are lightweight, stiff and stirdy.
